STORY: A long line of forest trees, countless branches and leaves sway gently back and forth in the morning breeze. Scattered sounds of birds mingle with the rustling of the trees. Two duelists in the forest – determined they pick up their pistols. The almost synchronized steps of the two opponents pull them further and further apart, their faces, their bodies and the atmosphere around them become more and more charged with tension – both stop. At the same time, the duelists turn to face each other. They raise their pistols. Their hands tremble. Their limbs tremble. They stretch the weapons as far as possible away from their bodies. The tension is palpable. The trembling of the hands is transferred to the pistols. Suddenly, a deafening “SHOOT!” breaks the silence. A pistol hangs from a trembling hand. The shot echoes among the fluttering sounds of birds. The young second stares in horror at the two duelists. Finally he looks down at himself: the smoking pistol hangs in his own hand….
